Recommended not to exceed optimum 2.0 mL/min sample flow rate; however, lower gas and sample flow rates are OK. The backpressure should read approximately 40 psi at 1.0 L/min gas flow rate. Can tolerate up to 20% TDS. RF Coil Gold for Agilent 7800/7900 ICP-MS. Compatible with all Agilent 7800/7900 ICP-MS. The RF coil is susceptible to corrosion in the torch box, which eventually lowers the conductivity of the coil. The greater the corrosion, the larger amount of energy is needed to produce a plasma of the same power. Coils in a corroded condition, increases the stress applied to other components in the RF generating system, and can shorten the lifetime of your torch, in addition to the power amplifier or solid-state generator.
